Its a very beautiful place to visit. Very nice grounds. Camper spots are kinda small, and real close. To clear up a few things that you'll see on their page: ( they have not updated it since it was a KOA, it is NO longer KOA)
Know what expect: this is not a wooded state park. The sites are close together but it's in a great location to sight see. The campground has a nice pool and a nice bathroom/showers.
WiFi- there is a wifi signal that comes thru, but you can NEVER connect to it. Ever!! They have signs saying they have cable. This is true, however, you have to get the reciever box from the office and there aren't many and you have to pay an additional $28 monthly for the box.. you can pick up a good 25 channels with your antenna.. Clean showers, nice play area, laundry 24/7.. Nice "clubhouse" to get alone time. Great pool, closes around Sept. 30 - Oct. 2. The staff is very nice. Washers are $1.50 and their decent working. The dryers on the other hand are $1.75 & i only wash half load & its NEVER dried. I usually had to pay to dry one load twice.
WiFi is poor, but cable is good (they loan you a descrambler to use). Restrooms small and unheated but clean. I’d look elsewhere. Our stay was Nov 2017.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great prices. Clean facility. Not to far from town.
Beautiful place to stay, campground manager is absolutely awesome and works very hard to keep it that way!
Not a KOA property anymore. Sites are really close together, gravel, not level. Don’t accept a pull-over site, as they are right next to road.
