Wow, wow! Tiny BBQ spot off the beaten path, well worth the few extra miles off the highway.
Very awesome place to obtain some mouth-watering BBQ and Burgers! The only downside is there is not a whole lot of dine-in area, but I could tell if you call your order in you have no problem picking it up at all. My family and I will definitely be going back to this establishment!!!!
This is the bbq joint of the gods. The atmosphere is perfect the food is very tasty and the service makes you feel like your at home. Can't get much better.
Homemade BBQ sauces were great and ready for you on the table, my favorite was just the regular house sauce.
Brisket sandwich was overflowing with cheese and juicy brisket. Fried green tomatoes were piping hot and a perfect combo of crunchy on the outside, mushy on the inside. Salad wasn't fancy, but it was topped with fried okra and more of that delicious brisket. Sweet potato tots are good but cooked in a lot of sugar, they're sweeter than I expected for a side dish.
Second time I’ve ate at Thatcher’s and love it! The pork and smoked chicken is wonderful! The price is awesome for the serving size. I can’t wait until the one in East Ridge opens!
The only thing missing is beer. LOL. Don't let dissuade you. Truly a wonderful, family owned joint with creative fare.....oh, and killer burgers!
