Karen Durham from Kinard Realty was very helpful as we were deciding how to market a house that my wife’s mother left us in LaFayette, Georgia. Her price analysis was more thorough than other realtors we consulted and she followed up with us better than others. Even though we found out about personal connections that we had with another realtor, we were very tempted to list the house with Karen. We have decided to list a parcel of land with her and are confident of her ability to sell it.
I worked with the branch out of Ringgold and it was one of the worst experiences i have ever had with a reality company. First off you can not get anyone to help you. If you call the number of the realtor on the signage at the property, you are told by someone else working that number to deal with another person who is "dealing" with the property. When you try talk to the other person who is "dealing with the property", he will not answer his phone and then he has a full voice mail box so you can't even leave him a message, both me and my fiance have called him multiple times and emailed him to no reply. Yet when you call the business in Ringgold Ga. They insist that you have to talk to this person that you can't get a hold of.. well finally we got in touch him and made a showing appointment. He didn't even show up. He was half a Hour late. We had been waiting at the property our only day off work. I called him and he was apologetic saying he over slept. Then when looking at the house, he wasn't very informative at all on it. He couldn't even tell us the price! He kept saying he didn't know alot about it because he wasn't the main realtor for the property. We had questions we need to know from the owners and he said he would talk to them for us and never called them. We made one more showing appointment the next evening and once again he didn't even show up and this time both me and my fiance tried to call multiple but no answer and his voice mail box is still full. It was ridiculous. I will never go through this company again. I was very displeased with the realtor over the house bc you can't get in touch with him (eddie floyd), the realtor who finally showed us the property with no answers or information (steve toker) and with the whole Ringgold branch who insist there is only one person you can talk to about a property and who also didn't have any information for us.. I had to search around for a listing of the property online to get the price and the information, which by the way, claimed things that the realtor said weren't included.
